A Bar Manager is expected to ensure the smooth running of the bar. The job can be a little on the non-glamorous side, but those with a creative bent of mind will find themselves enjoying it nonetheless. The job involves setting up the bar to give patrons as much enjoyment as possible. This may include dressing up the service to follow a certain theme (classic films, sports stars, etc.) or decorating the place (horror, science fiction, etc.).

A Bar Manager is often paired up with a Club Manager, but they are not the same, although their duties may sound similar.
